Yvonne Faye Allred, age 90, of Myrtle, MS, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 11, 1936, in Sparks Hill, IL, Yvonne was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was marked by love, music, and a passion for the beauty in the world around her.

Yvonne dedicated her life to her family and home, infusing warmth into every moment through her nurturing spirit. Her talent for playing guitar echoed the hymns of her heart, and she found joy in singing gospel music, sharing her faith and love for life with those around her. She had a profound appreciation for the simple pleasures of life, finding contentment in watching television, tending to flowers in her garden, and delighting in the graceful dance of hummingbirds. She also enjoyed spending time with her dear friends.

A celebration of Yvonne's life will take place on October 1, 2026. Family viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Her funeral service will commence at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Glenfield Memorial Park located at 101 N Denton Rd, New Albany, MS, at 2:00 PM.  Bro. Mitchell Hall will be officiating the service. 

Pallbearers will be Chady Smithey, Josh Carson, Henry Massey, Alan Ayers, Dave Lessel and Mark Allred. 

Yvonne is survived by her devoted daughters, Connie Lessel (Dave) and Lois Frayser; her beloved son, Ross Frayser III; her grandchildren, Chad Smithey (Morgan) and Amanda Frayser Wright, Ross Frayser IV, Levi Frayser, Feleasha Frayser, Nicole Nowakaskee; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and her brother, Larry Pennell. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. 

Yvonne was preceded in death by her late husband, Fred Allred, her son, Donald Frayser, brothers; Bill Pennell and Bud Pennell, her sister Juanita Love and her parents Norman H. Pennell and Ethel R. Wright Pennell. 

In this time of remembrance, let us gather to honor Yvonne's boundless spirit and the joyful legacy she leaves behind. May the music she loved so dearly continue to play in our hearts and may the beauty of her life inspire us all.
