Wayne Russell Patterson, Jr.

Russell Patterson, 58, was born April 6, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Wayne Russell and Dimple Luvone Barker Patterson. He died on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.   Russell was of the Pentecostal faith and was a maintenance technician for Dupont.  Survivors include his parents, Pat and Dimple Patterson of Hickory Flat; a son, Daniel Hoskins of Nesbit; a daughter, Melissa Hoskins of Nesbit, two brothers, Marc Patterson of Huntingdon, Tennessee, and Paul Patterson of Myrtle; and the mother of his children, Sherry Hoskins of Nesbit.   He was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Patterson. His funeral service will be at 2 P. M. on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Glenfield Funeral Home with Brother Raymond Bishop, officiating.  Burial will follow in Glenfield Memorial Park.  Visitation is Saturday from 11 A. M. until service time at the funeral home.
