Roy Edgar Adair

Roy Edgar Adair, 99, died Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Magnolia Place in New Albany. Mr. Adair was born in Union County on September 10, 1918. He was of the Assembly of God faith; former owner of Adair TV and Appliance in New Albany; and loved genealogy, wood working, vegetable gardening, and the internet. Mr. Adair also did photography work and built campers.    Survivors include his grandson, Tim Benefield and wife, Tanya; and son-in-law, Lynn Benefield all of New Albany; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edd and Annie Bell Goodwin Adair; his wife of 75 years, Adell Adair; his daughter, Edna Earline Benefield; and three sisters, Lois Gresham, Bessie Camp, and Elizabeth Thomas.     The funeral service will be held Saturday, at 1 P. M. at Glenfield Funeral Home with Brother Jim Wells officiating. Burial will follow in in Adair Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 11 A. M. until service time.
