Myrtle Mae Taylor

February 29, 1920 — May 6, 2017

Myrtle Mae Taylor, 97, died Saturday, May 6, 2017, at New Albany Health and Rehab.  Mrs. Taylor was born on February 29, 1920, in Arkansas.  She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Hickory Flat.  Her husband, James A. Taylor, and her son, James Anthony Taylor, both preceded her in death.She is survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carroll and Judy Taylor; niece, Brenda Knighton and husband, Bobby; two grand daughters, Dawn Taylor and Shelby; and several other nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2 P. M., on Monday at Glenfield Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Jason Howell officiating. Pallbearers will be Tim Holmes, Bobby Kinghton, Rickey Taylor, Larry Taylor, and Mark Massengill.   Burial will follow in McKay Cemetery in Hickory Flat.  Visitation will be from 11 A. M. until service time on Monday.
