Linda Nell Armstrong Griggs

New Albany- Mrs. Linda N. Armstrong Griggs, 80, passed away Saturday June 3^rd 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. She was born in Marie Arkansas on November 18, 1942 to Ed and Virginia Armstrong. She graduated from Wilson High School. She married the love of her life Ronnie Griggs.

Linda was a member of New Albany Church of Christ. She loved painting, quilting, cooking and spending time with family. Linda never met a stranger and always knew how to make someone laugh. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. 

Mrs. Griggs is survived by her husband of 59 years  Ronnie Griggs, her 3 children: Theresa Isbell (Raymond), Ronnie Griggs Jr and Michael Griggs. She is also leaving a legacy to her 4 grandchildren: Cindy Galeas of Jackson, TN, Chris Isbell of Milan, TN, Hanna Griggs of Humboldt, TN and Madison Griggs of New Albany, MS and with her 5 great-grandchildren Maleigha Isbell, Brendan Isbell, Jakob Galeas, Rosalie Blankenship and Eli Griggs. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Virginia Armstrong, three sisters Ann Stevens, Helen Filyaw and Evelyn Aycock. 

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on June 7^th, 2023 at Glenfield Funeral Home. Celebration of Life service will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:00 PM in the Glenfield Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Glenfield Memorial Park. 

Pallbearers will be Brian Carpenter, Mark Jennings, Olen Clark, Greg Clayton and Joe Owen and David Clayton. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Isbell, Brendan Isbell and Rob Wilson.
