Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Sue Adair, who left us peacefully on October 3, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on October 30, 1951, in Blue Mountain, Mississippi, Linda spent her life cherishing the simple joys of family, home, and nature.

A dedicated mother, Linda is survived by her beloved son, Christopher Adair. Linda was preceded in death by: Michael Adair, Cliffton Taylor, Edna Taylor.

She took great pride in her home, often found nurturing her yard and creating a warm, welcoming environment for those she loved. A natural caregiver, her fondness for children was evident; she delighted in their energy and laughter, always eager to share in their joy.

Having pursued her career in administration at Red Cap Industries, Linda balanced her professional and personal lives with grace and dedication. When the day's work was done, she found relaxation in the gentle rhythm of watching golf, a pastime that mirrored her calm and reflective nature.

A visitation will be held on October 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM at Glenfield Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glenfield Memorial Park.

Linda S. Adair will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her unwavering love, warmth, and the memories she created with those she held dear. May her spirit continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Glenfield Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care and arrangements of Mrs. Adair and her family.
