Lillie Ryder, a beloved member of the New Albany community, passed away peacefully on September 27 2024, at the age of 71, Born on October 08, 1952, in New Albany, Mississippi, Lillie was a kind and gentle soul whose impact on her friends and family will be felt for years to come.
Lillie had a deep passion for animals and an unwavering commitment to helping those in need. Her for life was evident in all her endeavors, and she took great joy in lending a helping hand whenever possible. Her warm heart and generous spirit endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her loving brothers, Rickey Hefner and Harold Hefner, as well as her sister, Hattie Cornelious. Lillie leaves behind a host of cherished nieces and nephews who will forever remember her with love.
Lillie is reunited in spirit with her departed loved ones, including her dear parents, Gladys Hefner and Belton Hefner, her sister Emma Foreman, and her brothers Charles Hefner and Freddy Hefner. Their memories live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
A visitation will be held on September 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Glenfield Funeral Home located at 101 N. Denton Road, New Albany, MS. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Glenfield Memorial Park at 1:00 PM.
Lillie Ryder will be dearly missed, but her legacy of compassion and kindness will continue to inspire everyone she touched.
