With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of John Milton Harlow, who left this world on July 1, 2026, at the age of 87. Born in Pontotoc, Mississippi, John lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and love. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for four years, embodying a spirit of dedication and strength that characterized his life.
A truck driver for 45 years, John was known for his unwavering commitment to his work, traversing the highways and byways and creating lasting connections along the road. He embraced the simple pleasures in life, whether it was mowing his yard, watching westerns, or enjoying the great outdoors with his beloved dog diamond by his side. John cherished every moment spent with family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever resonate in their hearts.
John is survived by his daughters Genia Spoon (David) of Burnsville, Liz Gullo, Michelle Mcdaniels (Jim), Linda Lemmon, sons; John Harlow Jr, Leonard Carruth, and David Curtis. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his first wife Claudette Harlow, his second wife, Etta Harlow, parents, William Harlow and Louise Wade, brother James Harlow and his son Chip Garrett.
As we remember John Milton Harlow, let us hold dear the cherished memories and the love he freely gave, ensuring that his spirit lives on in our hearts.
