James Dugger Howell

James Dugger Howell, 74, was born September 21, 1946, in New Albany, Mississippi, the son of the late, J. D. and Lillie Pauline Dugger Howell. He died on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Region One in Memphis. Mr. Howell had been a self employed plumber and owned Howell Plumbing in Tupelo, doing commercial and residential plumbing. His wife, Martha Louise Howell, preceded him in death on July 20, 2013. Mr. Howell was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Survivors include, sons, Robert Howell of Los Angeles, California, Paul Howell of Tupelo, Mike Howell of Geismar, Louisiana, and Adam Howell of Tupelo; daughter, Julie Denise Howell-McCullough of Crestview, Florida; brother, Ricky Howell of Corinth; sisters, Judy Robinson of Columbus, and Martha Lou Quigley of Texas; and ten grandchildren. No service is planned at this time.
