Ivan Jerry Williams

Ivan Jerry Williams, 91, died Friday, May 18, 2018, at Mississippi State Veterans Home of Oxford.  Mr. Williams was born March 6, 1927, in Michigan.   He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in New Albany and had been a Grocery Store Manager for most of his life.  He was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy.  He is survived by two sons, Eric Williams of New Albany, and Ernie Williams and his wife, Judi, of Steens; six grandchildren, Tori Pugh, Erin Williams, Daniel Williams, Abigail Williams, Zane Nolan, and Lysette Williams; and four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce in 2013;  a son Jerry Williams; and a daughter, Evelyn Denise Nolan.A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P. M., on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Calvary United Methodist Church in New Albany, with Reverend Brownie Towhill and Reverend Ricky Bishop officiating.
