Iva Amidei, a beloved health aid and a cherished member of the community, passed away on October 7th,2023 in New Albany, MS.

She was born on July 30,1929 in Myrtle, MS.

Iva's life was one that exemplified compassion and dedication. As a health aid, she spent countless hours caring for others and selflessly lending a helping hand to those in need. Her unwavering commitment to her profession touched the lives of many and earned her the respect and gratitude of both her patients and colleagues.

Beyond her career, Iva had a deep passion for motorcycle racing. It was not uncommon to see her cruising around town on her beloved pink motorcycle, her smile radiating as she embraced the thrill of the open road. She found solace and joy in this exhilarating hobby, relishing every moment she spent on two wheels.

In addition to watching motorcycle racing, Iva had an appreciation for country music. The twang of guitars and heartfelt lyrics spoke to her soul, providing a soundtrack to both the highs and lows of her life. Whether tapping her foot along to classic tunes or belting out the lyrics with gusto, Iva found comfort and connection in the melodies that filled her home.

Nature held a special place in Iva's heart as well. She treasured the serenity of camping trips and reveled in the beauty of the great outdoors. Wandering amongst towering trees, breathing in fresh mountain air, and gazing at starlit skies brought Iva peace and rejuvenation. It was during these moments that she felt closest to nature's embrace.

Iva Amidei leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished by all who knew her. She is survived by her devoted son L.V. Hall, loving daughter Sue Amidei, granddaughters Michelle Rice, Alison Hopper, and Steffanie Kuykendall. Grandsons Elive (Danny) Hall, Douglas Hall, David Haws, Jeremey Haws, Gary (Brandon) Hall, Ian McGregor, and Shane McGregor. She also leaves behind a host of great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Washington (Wash) Smithey and Maude (Granny) White and her son Gary Hall.
