Howard Lee Harris

Howard Lee Harris, 86, died Monday, October 3, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Union County, in New Albany. He was born December 3, 1935, the son of Alvis and Rebecca Harris. Mr. Harris was a pulp wood cutter most of his life. He was a member of Bethlehem Church, Potts Camp. His hobbies included fishing and playing his guitar. Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Ethel Harris of Potts Camp; six sons, Albert Harris (Christy) of Waterford, Wayne Harris (Angela) of Potts Camp, Robert Harris (Chrystal) of Potts Camp, Willie Joe Harris of Potts Camp, John Harris of Waterford, and Adam Harris (Kristie) of Honeybrook, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Patricia Jones of Dumas, and Rebecca Harris of Blue Mountain; two brothers, Don Harris of Arkansas, and Alvis (Popeye) Harris, Jr. of Cayce; one sister, Sarah Lois of Tennessee; twenty three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one special boy kid, Hercules.
