Delitha Irvin, 57, was born on March 12, 1964, in Baldwyn, Mississippi, the daughter of Cecil and Patricia Ann Malone. She departed life on earth on Sunday evening at NMMC, in Pontotoc. Mrs. Irvin was of the Pentecostal faith and had been a seamstress in furniture manufacturing during her working career. Survivors include her husband, Charles David Irvin of Pontotoc; sons, David Allen Irvin, and Chad Irvin, both of Pontotoc; daughters, Candice Walker, and husband, Donnie Dewayne, of Thaxton; and Lacy Danielle Irvin, of Mendenhall, Mississippi; brothers, Cecil Malone, Jr. of Byhalia, Larry Malone of Oakland, Tennessee, and Jerry Wayne Malone of New Albany; sisters, Joyce Ann Mc Clarty of Olive Branch, and Debbie Kay Bishop of New Albany, six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and step-father, Bobby Mason of New Albany. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 2:00 P. M. at Glenfield Funeral Home, with Brother Jeff Bagwell, officiating. Pallbearers will be Don Gilmore, Chris Gilmore, Adam Cornelius, Jesse Adams, Brian Malone, and Josh Mason. Burial will take place in Enterprise Cemetery.
