Michael Earl Adair

Mike Adair, 66, was born in Memphis on July 23, 1949, the son of Ralph and Lovie Rutherford Adair. He died on May 22, 2016, in Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Mike served his country in the Army Reserves and was Plant Manager and Quality Control Manager for a number of years with Benchcraft and Sofa Mart. He was a member of Glenfield United Methodist Church. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 23, 2016, at Glenfield Funeral Home, with Brother Leo Stephens and Brother Stacy McKee officiating. Pallbearers were Bret Gullick, Jeff Hill, William Earl Beaty, Brian Camp, and Robby Herman. Burial was in Glenfield Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 47 and 1/2 years, Linda Adair of New Albany; his son, Christopher Adair of San Francisco, CA; his mother, Lovie Adair of Dumas; and four sisters, Cynthia Crosby of Ripley, Jane Bynum of Helena, AR, Nancy Hodges of Dumas; and Mary Jo Cousar of Blue Mountain.
