Glenn Dexter Huey

Glenn Dexter Huey, 69, was born in Pontotoc on May 4, 1947, the son of Harry Cummings Huey and Peggy Lou Bishop Huey. Dexter owned and operated a tire store in Memphis, was a Baptist, and a member of Olive Branch Country Club. Services will be held at 4 P. M. on Friday, August 5, 2016, at Glenfield Funeral Home in New Albany, Ms. Chaplain Chip Huey will officiate with burial following in Ecru Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bubba Randall, Charlie Coffeld, Jim Braddock, Brook Bumpus, Howard Mc Daniel, and David Brown. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:30 P. M.until service time. Mr. Huey is survived by one son, Glenn Huey of Memphis; one daughter, Audra Delancy of Hattiesburg; one brother, Chip Huey of Columbus, SC; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his faithful companion, his dog, Harley.
